Hello all! Happy April.
March was a weird month for me. It’s our fiscal year end which is always a little busy and a little stressful. I was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes and have been struggling with managing it. With this combination, I feel that my schoolwork suffered. But I am getting through it, and I do have some assignments to show you!
Computer Graphics
I learned how to vectorize sketches! I feel that this will fundamentally change my process and opens up so many doors for illustrating. Can’t wait to have more time to create more little digital characters from my little drawings.
We learned how to deal with graphs in Adobe Illustrator
We also learned how to construct blends and gradients.
We learned how to use graphic appearances in Adobe Illustrator.
Graphic Design
We had to put together an instructional manual, including drawing the all the illustrations and typesetting the manual.
Typography
We put together a mock 4-page newsletter for a mock client
That’s it, that’s all! thanks for reading.
You’ve learned so much Laur. Proud of you for keeping at it. Your bowl of Wacky-O’s is only a few short months away :)
These look awesome! The vectorizing sounds empowering! I really love your instruction manual too. I have a thing for "exploded" parts diagrams.
